What you can do on Base

  • Vault wallets

Keys generated and sealed in the vault (AES-256-GCM, per-organization key), never shown.

  • Split keys 2-of-2

Half of each key stays on your own co-signer: a breach of Chainvara alone cannot move funds.

  • Policies & approvals

Per-transfer and daily caps, approval tiers, address book with cooldown, two-factor.

  • Send & receive

Fees quoted and checked before signing, every transfer tracked to finality.

  • Wallet API

One wallet per end user, idempotent transfers, signed webhooks.

  • Sanctions screening

Destinations checked against the OFAC SDN list before every transfer.

  • Swaps

Best price across decentralized exchanges (KyberSwap), guaranteed minimum approved by your team.

  • Token issuance

ERC-20 contracts deployed from the vault; mint and burn under approval.

  • DeFi apps

Connect a vault wallet to dApps through WalletConnect, every request approved.

  • Exchange rails

Deposits to Binance and Coinbase from the vault; withdrawals back to your own wallets only.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create a vault wallet

Choose Base: the key is generated in the vault, or split 2-of-2 with your co-signer.

  2. 02

    Set your policy

Caps per transfer and per day, approval tiers, trusted addresses, two-factor for every approver.

  3. 03

    Move funds

Send, receive, swap or pay in batches — by console or API.

  4. 04

    Reconcile

Every movement is matched to the chain and exported with fees, approvals and audit trail.

Questions about Base

Can my company hold ETH on Base with Chainvara?

Yes. Create a vault wallet on Base: its key is generated and sealed in the Chainvara vault and never shown. Every transfer goes through your policy (caps, approvals, address book) before it is signed.

Which assets are supported on Base?

USDC, ETH. USDC use the issuer's official contract on Base.

Can we swap tokens on Base?

Yes, at the best price across decentralized exchanges. Your approvers sign off a guaranteed minimum; if the price moves below it, nothing is signed.

Is there a free test environment for Base?

Yes. The free Sandbox runs on Base Sepolia with test funds and the same console, API, policies and webhooks.

Can a breach of Chainvara move our ETH?

With split keys (2-of-2), half of each key lives on your own co-signer, which approves each transfer by your rules. Neither side alone can sign.
